Role Overview

ITM Services Ltd is seeking a results-driven Chief Operations Officer (COO) to lead and optimize the company’s operational functions. The COO will drive strategic initiatives, enhance operational performance, and ensure the successful execution of projects across all business units. This role requires a visionary leader with strong industry expertise and a proven ability to scale operations effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and alignment with organizational goals.
• Develop and implement operational strategies that support business growth and long-term objectives.
• Drive performance improvements across all departments, ensuring optimal resource utilization.
• Provide leadership and direction to operational teams, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Oversee project execution, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to align operational plans with overall business strategy.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational success.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization, innovation, and cost efficiency.
• Strengthen the company’s market position within the engineering and elevator sectors, particularly across African markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Minimum of 15 years’ experience in operations leadership, preferably within the elevator or engineering sectors.
• Strong understanding of operations within African markets is highly desirable.
• Proven leadership, strategic planning, and project management capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to drive operational excellence and organizational growth.
• Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
