Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Operations Officer (COO) to lead and optimize the company’s operational functions. The successful candidate will drive efficiency, oversee large-scale projects, and ensure alignment between operational performance and overall business objectives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness across all business units.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company’s long-term goals.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and operational performance.
  • Manage large-scale engineering or infrastructure projects from planning through execution.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational success.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to support strategic decision-making and growth initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Build, mentor, and lead high-performing operations teams across multiple functions.
  • Strengthen the company’s presence and operational effectiveness within African markets.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Bring a minimum of 15 years of experience in operations leadership roles.
  • Demonstrate experience within the elevator, engineering, or related industrial sectors (preferred).
  • Possess strong knowledge of operational dynamics within African markets.

  • Apply strategic thinking and execution to complex operational challenges.
  • Demonstrate advanced project management expertise.
