Role Overview

PJA & Partners is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Finance Manager to oversee financial operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide actionable insights to support organizational growth. In this role, you will manage all aspects of financial planning, reporting, and control while collaborating with trustees, educators, and operational teams.


Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Planning and Budgeting: Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans aligned with organizational goals.
  • Accounting and Reporting: Manage accounting processes, produce timely and accurate financial statements, and ensure transparent reporting.
  • Cash-flow and Treasury Management: Monitor cash flow, oversee treasury operations, and ensure liquidity for operational needs.
  • Statutory and Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to Ghanaian tax laws, pension regulations, and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Payroll and Staff Benefits: Oversee payroll processing, staff benefits administration, and employee financial records.
  • Strategic Support: Provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making and long-term strategic planning.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree is an added advantage)
  • Professional certification (ICAG, ACCA, or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably in the educational or service sector
  • Strong knowledge of statutory compliance in Ghana, including taxes and pensions
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • High integrity, transparency, and ability to collaborate effectively with educators, trustees, and operational teams
