Position Overview

We are seeking a capable and detail-oriented Assistant Manager (Logistics) to oversee and coordinate the movement, storage, and distribution of products. This role is critical in ensuring product availability, efficient delivery execution, and seamless coordination across suppliers, warehouse operations, and business units.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day logistics operations, including inventory management, transport scheduling, and product distribution.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, warehouse teams, and business units to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Monitor warehouse and transport operations, identifying issues early and implementing corrective actions promptly.
  • Support the planning and execution of stock movements to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Utilize logistics and inventory systems, along with Microsoft Excel, for reporting and performance tracking.
  • Collaborate with teams to maintain consistency, structure, and accountability in logistics operations.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to logistics staff to achieve operational excellence.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Graduate degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field; Master’s in Supply Chain Management (SCM) is preferred.
  • 3–5 years’ experience in logistics, distribution, or supply chain operations.
  • Experience in FMCG, retail, food service, or distribution environments preferred.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, transport processes, and delivery coordination.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and logistics or inventory management systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and team collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure with high attention to detail.
