Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Male Teller to join our team in Accra. The successful candidate will efficiently handle financial transactions, provide excellent customer service, and ensure compliance with operational and security procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions accurately, including cash deposits, cheque deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments
• Verify transaction details and ensure all documentation is complete and accurate
• Provide prompt and professional customer service by responding to inquiries and resolving account-related issues
• Balance and reconcile cash drawers daily, ensuring accuracy in all transactions
• Handle cash and financial instruments securely while maintaining strict attention to detail
• Promote and cross-sell the company’s financial products and services to clients
• Adhere to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and security procedures
• Identify and report suspicious or potentially fraudulent activities

Qualifications & Experience

• HND or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working as a teller or in a similar role
• Strong understanding of banking operations or financial services
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with high accuracy in cash handling
• High level of attention to detail and ability to detect discrepancies
• Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with financial systems
