We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Maintenance Planner – Electrical to join our team at the Chirano Site. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and safe operation of electrical systems across the operation.

Key Responsibilities

You will:

• Develop detailed maintenance plans for electrical systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Prepare and coordinate weekly and monthly maintenance schedules with operations teams.
• Review, prioritize, and manage work orders generated from the CMMS system.
• Define job scopes, including required materials, tools, and manpower for each task.
• Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure the timely availability of spare parts and materials.
• Maintain and update maintenance records, job plans, and equipment history in CMMS systems (e.g., SAP, Maximo, Pronto).
• Optimize preventive and predictive maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with electrical standards and safety regulations.
• Liaise with supervisors and technicians to ensure effective execution of planned work.
• Monitor maintenance backlog and drive timely closure of work orders.
• Analyze maintenance data and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and operational efficiency.
• Support shutdown planning and execution activities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support operational objectives.

Education, Experience & Key Competencies

You should have:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in electrical maintenance planning within mining, industrial, or manufacturing environments.
• Hands-on experience with CMMS platforms such as SAP, Maximo, or Pronto.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installations, and maintenance practices.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics accurately.
• Solid understanding of safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills to support effective decision-making.
• Expertise in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and troubleshooting techniques.
• High attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
• A collaborative mindset with a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
