Job Summary

Newmont invites applications from skilled and motivated professionals for the role of IT Infrastructure Engineer. In this role, you will design, deploy, and secure operational technology across global mining operations. You will leverage your expertise in cloud platforms, data center management, and cybersecurity to optimize IT infrastructure, collaborate with diverse teams, and deliver impactful solutions in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage IT infrastructure across cloud and on-premises environments
• Deploy and secure operational technology systems to support mining operations
• Monitor infrastructure performance to ensure availability, reliability, and scalability
• Implement and maintain robust cybersecurity controls and best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams on infrastructure projects
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues efficiently
• Maintain accurate system documentation and technical standards
• Identify and implement continuous improvements to enhance system performance and resilience

Qualification Required & Experience

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., cloud, networking, or security) will be an advantage
• Demonstrated experience in IT infrastructure, including cloud services, data centers, and network/security management

• Strong expertise in cloud technologies and infrastructure architecture
• Solid understanding of networking, systems administration, and cybersecurity
