Role Overview

Rehab Beach Club seeks a skilled and proactive Maintenance Officer to ensure that all facilities, equipment, and infrastructure remain in excellent working condition. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining a safe, functional, and visually appealing environment that supports exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of facilities, equipment, and systems to ensure optimal functionality
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance across electrical, plumbing, and general facility systems
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and resolve issues efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of all operational areas through proper upkeep
• Monitor and maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies
• Coordinate with external contractors when specialized repairs are required
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and report major issues

Qualifications

• Minimum of Senior High School Certificate or equivalent
• Technical or vocational training in electrical, mechanical, or building maintenance is an advantage

Experience

• Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in maintenance or facility management, preferably within hospitality or a related environment

Skills & Competencies

• Demonstrate strong technical and problem-solving skills
• Show knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, and general repair work
• Maintain attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintenance tasks
• Communicate effectively and work collaboratively with team members
• Manage time efficiently and handle multiple tasks
• Uphold safety standards and demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility
• Maintain a positive, service-oriented attitude
