Role Purpose

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Supervisor to strengthen our finance team. You will actively lead core accounting functions, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support compliance across all accounting processes within a dynamic shipping environment.

Key Responsibilities

You will actively:

• Supervise and manage accounts receivable processes to ensure timely collections and accurate recording
• Perform and review account reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy and integrity
• Update and maintain expense general ledger (GL) entries in line with accounting standards
• Prepare and support tax returns and ensure compliance with statutory requirements
• Oversee intercompany billing and ensure proper documentation and reconciliation
• Support the preparation of accurate and timely monthly financial reports
• Monitor financial data integrity within SAP and other shipping/finance systems
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations and reporting consistency
• Maintain high standards of accuracy, compliance, and attention to detail in all accounting activities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• ICA or ACCA qualification is required
• Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in Finance/Accounting within a Shipping Line or Container Shipping Agency
• Strong working knowledge of SAP and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Solid understanding of shipping finance systems and industry practices
• High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet strict reporting deadlines
• Strong sense of accountability, discipline, and teamwork
