Role Purpose
We are seeking an experienced and detail-driven Project Manager to lead the delivery of residential construction projects. You will actively oversee site execution, manage procurement for finishing works, control budgets, and ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
You will actively:
- Oversee full construction activities from superstructure through to finishing and handover
- Ensure all works align with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards
- Monitor project timelines and enforce delivery milestones
- Lead finishing procurement including tiles, sanitary ware, kitchens, lighting, and fittings
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure quality materials at competitive costs
- Supervise site supervisors, foremen, and artisans to ensure efficient execution
- Conduct daily site briefings and enforce site discipline and safety compliance
- Track project budgets and actively prevent cost overruns
- Maintain accurate procurement logs, cost reports, and project documentation
- Conduct snagging inspections and ensure timely correction of defects before handover
Requirements
- Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in construction project management
- Strong experience in finishing works and procurement coordination
- Proven ability to lead and manage site teams effectively
- Strong knowledge of Ghana’s construction market, materials, and pricing structures
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings confidently
- Strong negotiation, cost control, and problem-solving skills
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and accountability
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
