The Role

The Technical Operations Manager leads the design, execution, and continuous improvement of the organization’s technical operations. This role ensures system reliability, drives operational excellence, and oversees the successful delivery of technical projects.

The successful candidate combines strong leadership with deep technical expertise to manage teams, optimize systems, and maintain secure, high-performing technology environments.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Excellence

• Improve system performance, reliability, and availability through proactive monitoring and optimization
• Implement and maintain best practices aligned with ITIL frameworks
• Ensure efficient operation of IT systems and infrastructure

Team Leadership

• Lead and mentor engineers and developers to build a high-performing team
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure effective service delivery
• Foster cross-functional collaboration to resolve complex technical challenges

Project Execution

• Plan, coordinate, and execute technical components of engineering projects
• Oversee system upgrades, deployments, and migration initiatives
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to quality standards

Security & Risk Management

• Enforce security best practices across systems and infrastructure
• Oversee firewall management, vulnerability assessments, and risk mitigation
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards and organizational policies

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in technical program management, IT operations, or related roles
• Proven experience managing complex technical environments and cross-functional teams

Technical Skills

• Strong expertise in IT systems and infrastructure management
• Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems
• Experience with cloud computing platforms and architectures
• Solid understanding of project management methodologies
