The Role

The Finance and Accounts Manager leads the company’s financial strategy and operations, ensuring strong financial governance, performance, and sustainability. This role drives financial planning, reporting, and analysis while supporting executive leadership with insights that inform strategic decisions and business growth.

The successful candidate strengthens financial systems, enhances operational efficiency, and ensures compliance with regulatory standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership across all financial management functions, including reporting, analysis, and financial health assessment
  • Oversee and continuously improve finance department operations, systems, policies, and team performance
  • Lead the preparation of periodic financial statements in line with applicable accounting and reporting standards
  • Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes aligned with organizational objectives
  • Manage cash flow, funding requirements, and capital structure to optimize liquidity and cost efficiency
  • Deliver financial insights, risk analysis, and performance evaluations to support executive decision-making and growth
  • Lead project costing, financial modelling, and investment appraisal to ensure profitability and efficient resource allocation
  • Ensure effective financial systems management, including full utilization of ERP platforms and strong control over receivables and financial processes

Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, or CIMA is preferred

Experience & Skills

  • Strong expertise in financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
  • Proven experience in project costing, financial modelling, and investment appraisal
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced financial analysis tools
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements
  • Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills
  • Ability to provide strategic insight and drive financial performance in a dynamic environment
