Position Overview

We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and reliable Supply Assistant to support loading bay and warehouse operations. The successful candidate will ensure accurate loading, proper stock handling, and strict compliance with inventory control procedures to support smooth distribution activities.

This role requires strong attention to detail, physical readiness, and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities

Loading & Dispatch Operations

• Coordinate and supervise the loading of inventory into supply vehicles to ensure safe handling and optimal space utilization.
• Verify that all items loaded match dispatch notes, invoices, and delivery manifests.
• Ensure accurate and timely loading of goods to support on-time deliveries.

Inventory Control & Verification

• Monitor stock movement in and out of the loading bay.
• Ensure strict adherence to inventory control procedures at all times.
• Inspect goods for damage, defects, or quality issues before loading.
• Report discrepancies or irregularities immediately to the Warehouse Supervisor.

Operational Support

• Support smooth coordination between warehouse staff and driver teams.
• Assist in maintaining order, cleanliness, and safety within the loading area.
• Ensure compliance with operational and safety standards during all loading activities.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in a warehouse, loading bay, or logistics environment (experience in food service or restaurant supply chains is an advantage).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good numeracy and basic record-keeping skills.
• Ability to handle physical tasks in a demanding environment.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure setting.
