Role Overview
The Telecom Product & Solution Sales Manager will lead the sales and business development of telecom solutions, including fiber optic and wireless products. You will drive revenue growth, manage strategic client relationships, and identify new market opportunities across Ghana and selected regional markets. This role requires a proactive, results-driven professional with strong industry knowledge and the ability to execute complex sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities
You will:
- Drive sales of fiber optic cable and wireless telecom products, ensuring achievement of defined performance targets
- Develop and manage relationships with key telecom operators and industry stakeholders
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities while expanding existing client accounts
- Manage and follow up on large and medium-scale telecom projects to ensure successful delivery
- Lead negotiations and structure partnership agreements with clients
- Analyze customer needs and provide tailored product and solution recommendations
- Develop and implement regional sales strategies aligned with business objectives
- Conduct market research, gather intelligence, and produce actionable market insights and reports
- Engage with procurement teams of major telecom operators and manage product registration/onboarding processes
- Ensure compliance with vendor requirements and successfully complete product registration with key operators
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years’ sales experience, including at least 2 years in the telecommunications industry
- Proven experience in selling telecom products, particularly fiber optic and wireless solutions
- Experience working within markets such as Ghana, Cameroon, or Togo is an advantage
- Familiarity with major telecom operators and vendors such as Huawei, ZTE, IHS Towers, or ATC is desirable
