Job Purpose

You will deliver high-quality instruction in ICT and Programming, equipping students with essential digital literacy, computational thinking, and problem-solving skills. You will foster a hands-on, engaging learning environment that prepares students for academic success and future careers in technology.

Key Responsibilities

You will:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in ICT, computing, and introductory programming.
• Teach computer hardware, software applications, and basic networking concepts.
• Guide students in developing practical programming and problem-solving skills.
• Develop lesson plans, schemes of work, and instructional materials aligned with the curriculum.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
• Maintain and support the use of ICT tools, systems, and learning resources in the classroom.
• Create a safe, interactive, and technology-driven learning environment.
• Support students in project-based learning and practical assignments.
• Maintain accurate academic records and contribute to reporting processes.
• Participate actively in school activities, meetings, and professional development initiatives.

Key Requirements

Education

You hold a qualification in one of the following areas:

• Information and Communication Technology (ICT)
• Computer Science
• Information Technology
• Or a related field

Experience

You have:

• A minimum of 4 years’ teaching experience in ICT or Computing.
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software systems, and basic networking.
• Experience delivering practical and engaging technology-based lessons.
