The Role
Uber is looking for a highly analytical and results-driven Moto Operations Associate to join our Ghana team in Accra. In this role, you will support the growth and performance of Uber’s rider marketplace by identifying operational opportunities, analysing rider behaviour, and executing initiatives that improve rider engagement, retention, and overall experience.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to optimise marketplace performance, drive operational excellence, and contribute to the continued growth of Uber’s operations in Ghana.
Key Responsibilities
As a Moto Operations Associate, you will:
- Support the growth of Uber’s rider base in Accra by analysing rider behaviour, identifying friction points, and implementing initiatives that drive acquisition and repeat usage.
- Execute and optimise rider engagement strategies, including promotions, lifecycle campaigns, and targeted interventions for key rider segments.
- Monitor key marketplace metrics such as active riders, trip frequency, cancellations, and retention, and translate insights into operational improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Driver Operations, Customer Support, and Policy to enhance the rider experience in Ghana.
- Conduct experiments, evaluate performance outcomes, and implement data-driven strategies to improve affordability perception, reliability, and rider satisfaction.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and performance analyses to support business decision-making and operational planning.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and support the automation of operational workflows where applicable.
Qualifications and Experience
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in business operations, finance, commercial strategy, consulting, analytics, or related fields.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets, with the ability to analyse datasets, build forecasts, and develop dashboards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to transform insights into actionable recommendations.
- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive cross-functional collaboration.
- A proactive, self-driven approach with strong ownership and accountability.
- Professional fluency in English; proficiency in a local Ghanaian language will be an added advantage.
- Experience with SQL is preferred, alongside a willingness to learn quickly.
- Experience managing projects or initiatives in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
- Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
The ideal candidate will also have:
- Experience designing or optimising campaigns, incentives, growth strategies, or customer engagement initiatives.
- Experience working in fast-paced environments where prioritisation and experimentation are essential.
- Knowledge of dashboarding tools, process automation, and operational reporting.
- Experience combining analytics with stakeholder management in operations, strategy, consulting, or commercial functions.

Work Environment
