Position Summary
Rabotech Ghana is seeking two highly skilled and safety-focused Drill & Blast Engineers to design, plan, and supervise blasting operations in mining and construction environments. You will ensure that all drilling and blasting activities are executed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with regulatory and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement drilling and blasting plans to achieve optimal fragmentation and production targets
- Supervise drilling and blasting operations in accordance with approved engineering designs
- Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations
- Conduct site inspections and assess ground conditions prior to blasting activities
- Monitor blast performance and adjust designs to improve efficiency and safety
- Coordinate with geologists, mining engineers, and site supervisors to optimize operations
- Manage explosive materials in compliance with legal and safety standards
- Prepare detailed reports on blast results, costs, and operational performance
- Train and guide field teams on safe drilling and blasting procedures
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Geological Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
- Professional certification or training in explosives handling or blasting technology will be an added advantage
Experience & Skills
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in drill and blast operations within mining or construction environments
- Strong knowledge of blasting design software and drilling techniques
- Solid understanding of explosives handling regulations and safety procedures
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in field environments under pressure
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Strong commitment to safety and operational excellence
