We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to join our academic team and support pupils in developing strong literacy, communication, and critical thinking skills.

Role Summary

The English Teacher will deliver engaging and interactive lessons that enhance pupils’ reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension abilities. The successful candidate will create a positive and stimulating classroom environment that promotes effective learning and student confidence.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver engaging English lessons and interactive classroom activities.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and supportive learning environment for pupils.
• Assess, monitor, and evaluate pupils’ academic progress effectively.
• Support pupils’ language development and build confidence in communication skills.
• Prepare lesson notes, assignments, and assessments in line with curriculum requirements.
• Maintain effective classroom management and positive student engagement.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to support pupil development.
• Participate actively in school programmes, meetings, extracurricular activities, and professional development sessions.
• Promote academic excellence, discipline, and positive learning behaviours among pupils.

Qualifications & Experience

We are looking for candidates who:

• Hold a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field.
• Have at least 1–2 years of teaching experience.
• Possess strong classroom management and pupil engagement skills.
• Demonstrate passion for child development and quality education.
• Can prepare lesson notes and assess pupils effectively.
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Are organized, creative, and committed to excellence in teaching.
• Candidates living in or around Achimota will be highly considered.
