Position Summary

The University invites applications from qualified, motivated, and research-driven individuals for the position of Lecturer in the Faculty of Engineering. The successful candidate will actively contribute to teaching, research, academic supervision, and service within the University community in line with the standards of public universities in Ghana.

Key Responsibilities

The Lecturer will:

• Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences in the relevant engineering discipline.
• Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate research projects and theses.
• Conduct impactful research and publish in reputable academic journals.
• Participate in curriculum development and continuous academic improvement.
• Contribute to departmental and faculty administrative duties.
• Engage in community service and industry collaboration initiatives.
• Support student academic advising and mentorship.
• Participate in faculty development activities and academic committees.

Requirements

Applicants must:

• Possess a Ph.D. in a relevant field of specialization in Engineering.
• Demonstrate evidence of teaching, research, and academic publication where applicable.
• Show capacity for effective supervision of students.
• Provide names and addresses of three (3) referees.
• Be ready to contribute to academic and institutional development.

Remuneration and Benefits

Compensation is aligned with the Single Spine Pay Policy and comparable to the conditions of service of public universities in Ghana.
