Position Summary
The Business Development Executive will identify and develop new business opportunities, manage key client relationships, and implement strategic sales initiatives for petroleum product portfolios. The successful candidate will contribute to revenue growth, market expansion, and effective customer engagement across assigned territories.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong market networks and client relationships to support rapid business growth.
- Identify key business assets and resources necessary to achieve sales goals for assigned product portfolios.
- Deploy customer retention initiatives and implement strategies to acquire new customers.
- Ensure seamless product supply logistics from depot locations to end users.
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities for the sale of AGO, PMS, DPK, and related petroleum products.
- Analyze market trends, customer data, and industry developments to provide strategic business insights.
- Conduct marketing activations and customer service follow-up activities.
- Collaborate with the communications team to ensure maximum brand visibility and effective product promotion.
- Work closely with internal teams to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
- Prepare and deliver business presentations, proposals, and commercial negotiations.
- Monitor competitor activities and identify opportunities for market expansion.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing or a related discipline.
- Minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in Sales and Marketing, preferably within the oil and gas sector.
- Strong knowledge of petroleum products and downstream oil and gas operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM software.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong presentation and relationship management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets in a competitive environment.
- Innovative, analytical, and commercially driven mindset.
