Role Summary

The Cook will prepare high-quality meals in accordance with company recipes, food safety standards, and operational procedures. The successful candidate will contribute to efficient kitchen operations, maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards, and support the delivery of an excellent dining experience for customers.


Key Responsibilities

Food Preparation & Cooking

  • Prepare and cook meals according to approved recipes and quality standards
  • Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control
  • Support timely meal preparation during peak operational hours
  • Maintain high standards of food quality and kitchen efficiency

Kitchen Operations & Hygiene

  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen environment
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
  • Properly store food items and monitor ingredient freshness
  • Support inventory monitoring and report stock shortages when necessary

Team Collaboration & Customer Focus

  • Work collaboratively with kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth operations
  • Support a positive and professional working environment
  • Contribute to delivering excellent customer dining experiences
  • Follow operational procedures and safety guidelines consistently

Educational Requirements

  • SHS Certificate in Catering or related field
  • HND in Culinary Arts, Hospitality, or related discipline is an added advantage

Experience & Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years’ restaurant cooking experience
  • Good understanding of food preparation and kitchen operations
  • Strong knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Good teamwork and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards
