Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee housekeeping operations and ensure exceptional cleanliness and presentation standards throughout the hotel. The successful candidate will supervise housekeeping teams, maintain operational efficiency, and ensure guests consistently receive outstanding service and comfort.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct and supervise housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and courteous service delivery
  • Inspect public areas, guest floors, and hotel facilities to ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and presentation standards are met
  • Conduct room inspections, with special attention to VIP, VVIP, and returning guest rooms
  • Coordinate with other housekeeping sections and hotel departments on room status, maintenance, and operational issues
  • Follow up on outstanding repairs and maintenance requests affecting guest experience
  • Assist with recruitment, performance management, and staff development initiatives when required
  • Identify training needs and support implementation of housekeeping training plans
  • Conduct monthly training sessions for housekeeping employees
  • Schedule and oversee routine inspections of occupied and vacant rooms
  • Monitor and control usage of cleaning supplies, equipment, and guest amenities in line with budget requirements
  • Support implementation of housekeeping procedures including Lost & Found, Key Control, Security, Emergency, and Health & Safety procedures
  • Promote teamwork, professionalism, and excellent service standards across the department

Qualifications & Requirements

  • HND in Hospitality Management or a related field
  • Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in a housekeeping supervisory role, preferably within a 5-star hotel
  • Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, housekeeping procedures, and hotel standards
  • Good understanding of cleaning products, equipment, and machinery
  • Experience using Opera PMS
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
