Position Summary
SBP Africa is seeking experienced and safety-focused Concrete Mixer Drivers to support the efficient transportation and delivery of ready-mix concrete to project sites. The successful candidates will ensure timely deliveries, maintain vehicle performance, and uphold the highest standards of safety, quality, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate concrete mixer trucks safely and efficiently in accordance with company policies and road safety regulations.
- Transport ready-mix concrete to designated construction and project sites.
- Monitor concrete quality during transportation and ensure timely delivery to maintain product integrity.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any defects or maintenance requirements.
- Maintain accurate delivery records, vehicle logs, and operational documentation.
- Ensure proper cleaning and maintenance of mixer drums and assigned vehicles.
- Follow all workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Coordinate with dispatch teams, plant operators, site supervisors, and customers to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Support operational activities and contribute to achieving production and delivery targets.
- Represent the company professionally when interacting with clients and stakeholders.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with the appropriate class required to operate heavy-duty or commercial vehicles.
- Previous experience operating concrete mixer trucks, heavy-duty vehicles, or similar industrial equipment is highly desirable.
- Hands-on industrial, construction, transportation, or technical experience is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of road safety regulations and safe driving practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to operational excellence.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Relevant certifications, defensive driving training, or practical industry experience will be considered an added advantage.
