As part of our ongoing growth and digital transformation journey, we are seeking an experienced and proactive IT Specialist to manage our technology infrastructure, strengthen cybersecurity, support cloud platforms, and drive continuous technology improvement across the organization.

Role Overview

As an IT Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of the organization’s technology environment. You will support users, manage Microsoft 365 and Azure platforms, administer security controls, oversee endpoint management, and contribute to technology initiatives that enhance business performance.

This role is ideal for a technology professional who combines strong technical expertise with a proactive approach to problem-solving, continuous improvement, and user support.

Key Responsibilities

IT Infrastructure & Systems Administration

You will:

  • Manage and maintain the organization’s IT infrastructure, devices, and technology systems.
  • Ensure optimal performance, reliability, and availability of IT services.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, networking, and system-related issues.
  • Monitor system performance and implement preventive maintenance measures.
  • Support employees with day-to-day technical challenges and IT service requests.
  • Maintain technology documentation and system inventories.

Cybersecurity & Security Administration

You will:

  • Monitor and strengthen the organization’s cybersecurity posture.
  • Implement security enhancements to protect systems, networks, and data from cyber threats.
  • Stay informed about emerging cybersecurity risks, technologies, and best practices.
  • Recommend and deploy security solutions that support organizational objectives.

Identity & Access Management

You will:

  • Administer Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory).
  • Create, manage, and maintain user accounts, permissions, and security groups.
  • Assign and manage Microsoft licenses.
  • Configure user access and authentication settings.
  • Ensure prompt removal or modification of access rights when required.
  • Maintain compliance with identity and access management policies.

Security Policies & Access Controls

You will:

  • Review, maintain, and optimize Conditional Access policies.
  • Implement security controls aligned with business requirements and risk assessments.
  • Balance security measures with operational efficiency and user productivity.

Security Monitoring & Compliance

You will:

  • Monitor antivirus and endpoint protection solutions.
  • Investigate and respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities.
  • Deploy Windows security updates and system patches.
  • Monitor device compliance and remediate identified risks.
  • Conduct periodic security audits and risk assessments.
  • Support compliance initiatives and cybersecurity governance activities.

Microsoft 365 & Cloud Administration

You will manage and support:

  • Microsoft Entra ID
  • Microsoft Intune
  • SharePoint Online
  • OneDrive for Business
  • Exchange Online
  • Microsoft Teams
  • Microsoft Purview

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Supporting cloud-based collaboration and productivity solutions.
  • Managing cloud security settings and governance controls.
  • Optimizing Microsoft 365 adoption and utilization across the organization.
  • Providing user support and training where required.

Microsoft Azure Administration

You will:

  • Support Azure cloud infrastructure and services.
  • Manage cloud resources, permissions, and security configurations.
  • Assist with cloud deployment, migration, and optimization initiatives.
  • Support business continuity and cloud governance requirements.

Endpoint & Device Management

You will:

  • Manage Windows 10 and Windows 11 devices across the organization.
  • Configure and deploy endpoint management policies using Microsoft Intune.
  • Monitor endpoint security, health, and compliance.
  • Manage software installations, updates, and device configurations.
  • Ensure all organizational devices remain secure and up to date.

Intranet & Document Management

Intranet Administration

You will:

  • Manage and maintain the company intranet platform.
  • Ensure information remains accurate, accessible, and relevant.
  • Support improvements that enhance user engagement and collaboration.

Document Repository Management

You will:

  • Support the administration of shared drives and document repositories.
  • Implement appropriate access controls and document governance standards.
  • Ensure efficient storage, organization, and retrieval of company information.

Knowledge Base Development

You will:

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of the organization’s internal knowledge management system.
  • Create and update documentation, including:
    • Standard operating procedures
    • Troubleshooting guides
    • User support materials
    • IT best practices
    • Common issue resolution guides

System Upgrades & Technology Improvement

You will:

  • Perform Windows operating system upgrades and migrations.
  • Manage software, driver, and system updates.
  • Upgrade legacy systems to supported platforms and technologies.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
  • Recommend innovative solutions that improve productivity, security, and operational efficiency.
  • Support digital transformation initiatives across the organization.

Digital Media & Content Support

You will:

  • Create digital advertorials and promotional content.
  • Design graphics for internal communications and external campaigns.
  • Support content development initiatives.
  • Assist with social media and digital communication activities.
  • Collaborate with marketing and communications teams on digital campaigns and branding projects.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

You should possess:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in:
    • Information Technology
    • Computer Science
    • Information Systems
    • Computer Engineering
    • Or a related field

Experience

You should have:

  • A minimum of four (4) to six (6) years of experience in:
    • IT Support
    • Systems Administration
    • Infrastructure Management
    • Microsoft 365 Administration
    • Cloud Services Administration

Preferred Experience

The following will be an advantage:

  • Experience managing Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.
  • Experience with Google Workspace administration.
  • Experience supporting medium-to-large enterprise technology environments.
  • Exposure to cybersecurity, governance, and compliance initiatives.
