Role Overview
As a Heavy-Duty Truck Driver, you will be responsible for operating company trucks to transport goods safely and efficiently to designated locations. You will ensure timely deliveries, maintain vehicle condition, and comply with all road safety and company regulations.
This role is ideal for disciplined and dependable drivers who take pride in safe driving, professionalism, and operational reliability.
Key Responsibilities
You will:
- Operate heavy-duty trucks safely in compliance with Ghana road traffic regulations and company policies.
- Transport goods and materials to assigned destinations in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ensure the safe handling, security, and proper delivery of all cargo.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure roadworthiness.
- Report vehicle faults, delays, accidents, or incidents promptly to supervisors.
- Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of assigned vehicles.
- Follow assigned routes, schedules, and delivery instructions accurately.
- Complete delivery documentation, logbooks, and reports as required.
- Adhere strictly to safety standards and operational procedures at all times.
- Represent the company professionally during all deliveries and interactions.
Qualification & Experience
We are looking for candidates who meet the following requirements:
- Valid Ghana Driver’s License – Class F (Heavy-Duty License).
- Minimum educational qualification: BECE or WASSCE.
- Ability to read and understand instructions, road signs, and basic documentation.
Added Advantage
- Previous experience operating heavy-duty trucks or commercial vehicles.
- Good knowledge of road safety regulations and defensive driving practices.
