Position Summary

The Cashier plays a key role in ensuring accurate transaction processing and providing excellent customer service. The successful candidate will handle cash and electronic payments, maintain accurate financial records, and contribute to a smooth and efficient customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Process cash, card, and electronic payments accurately and efficiently.
• Receive and issue receipts for customer transactions.
• Balance cash drawers and reconcile daily transactions.
• Maintain accurate records of sales and payments.
• Respond to customer inquiries professionally and courteously.
• Ensure the accuracy of pricing, billing, and payment information.
• Assist in resolving transaction discrepancies and reporting issues promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional cashier workstation.
• Support administrative and customer service activities as required.
• Adhere to company policies, financial procedures, and internal controls.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a cashier, customer service, retail, or related role.
• Basic knowledge of cash handling procedures and financial record-keeping.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using point-of-sale (POS) systems will be an advantage.
