Position Summary

The University invites applications from distinguished academics for appointment as Professor (Full-Time) in the Faculty of Business and Management Studies (FBMS). The successful candidate will provide academic leadership, advance research excellence, and contribute to curriculum innovation and industry collaboration within their area of specialization.

Department of Marketing

• Digital Marketing
• Business Analytics

Department of General Studies

• Law

Key Responsibilities

The Professor will:

• Lead teaching and learning in undergraduate and postgraduate programmes
• Develop and review curricula to align with industry and academic standards
• Conduct high-impact research and publish in reputable peer-reviewed journals
• Supervise MSc and PhD students and mentor junior faculty
• Drive innovation, consultancy, and knowledge transfer activities
• Build strong partnerships with industry and professional bodies
• Provide academic leadership within the Faculty and Department

Qualification Required & Experience

Applicants must:

• Possess a PhD in Marketing, Business Analytics, Law, or a closely related field
• Be nationally and internationally recognized as a scholar, teacher, and innovator
• Have previously held the rank of Professor in a recognized tertiary institution
• Demonstrate significant contributions to research, innovation, and academic leadership
• Show evidence of sustained scholarly output, including at least ten (10) peer-reviewed journal publications since promotion to Associate Professor
• Demonstrate continuous engagement in research dissemination, consultancy, and technology transfer

Added Advantage:

• Industry experience in relevant discipline
• Membership of a recognized professional or regulatory body
