We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Extrusion Operator to join our production team in Accra. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating extrusion machinery efficiently, maintaining product quality standards, and supporting safe and productive manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

As an Extrusion Operator, you will:

• Operate extrusion machines and related equipment in accordance with established production procedures.
• Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency, consistency, and adherence to production schedules.
• Conduct routine quality checks and inspections to ensure products meet company and customer specifications.
• Handle raw materials and finished products safely and efficiently throughout the production process.
• Set up, adjust, and monitor machine parameters to achieve optimal production performance.
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions, quality concerns, and production issues promptly.
• Perform routine equipment cleaning, inspection, and basic maintenance activities.
• Assist maintenance personnel during repairs and equipment servicing when required.
• Maintain accurate production records and operational documentation.
• Follow all workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations and procedures.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Technical/Vocational Certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Technical training in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field will be an added advantage.
• Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years of experience operating extrusion machines within a manufacturing environment.
• Good understanding of production processes, machine operations, and quality control procedures.
• Ability to read and follow operational instructions, specifications, and safety guidelines.
