Position Summary

Peduase Valley Resort is seeking a courteous, attentive, and service-oriented Porter / Butler to join our front-of-house team. The successful candidate will support guest arrival and departure processes while providing personalized in-room and guest assistance services.

This role requires a professional who delivers warm hospitality, anticipates guest needs, and ensures a seamless and memorable stay experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and assist with luggage during arrival and departure.
• Escort guests to rooms and provide orientation on facilities and services.
• Provide personalized butler services to assigned guests when required.
• Deliver room service requests promptly and professionally.
• Assist guests with special requests, errands, and general support needs.
• Ensure guest rooms and public areas meet presentation and readiness standards.
• Coordinate with front office, housekeeping, and other departments for smooth guest service delivery.
• Handle guest inquiries courteously and resolve minor issues promptly or escalate when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper handling of guest luggage and belongings.
• Uphold confidentiality, professionalism, and high standards of guest care at all times.

Educational Requirements

• Higher National Diploma (HND) or Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Hotel Management, or a related field.

Experience and Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of relevant experience in hospitality, front office, porter services, or butler service.
• Strong customer service and guest relations skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Strong attention to detail and service excellence mindset.
• Ability to handle guest requests professionally and discreetly.
• Team-oriented with a proactive and helpful attitude.
