We are seeking a proactive and tech-savvy IT/Booking Support Officer to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support both technology operations and booking administration while contributing to an outstanding customer experience.

Role Overview

As an IT/Booking Support Officer, you will provide technical support to users, assist with the management of booking systems, and ensure the smooth operation of daily administrative and technology-related activities. You will play a key role in supporting business operations through efficient problem-solving, system coordination, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

You will:

  • Provide first-level IT support to staff and users by resolving hardware, software, and system-related issues.
  • Assist in the administration and maintenance of booking and reservation systems.
  • Monitor booking activities and ensure accurate processing of reservations and customer information.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and escalate complex technical challenges when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of bookings, system updates, and support requests.
  • Support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer equipment and software applications.
  • Assist users with system access, account management, and technical guidance.
  • Generate reports related to bookings, system performance, and operational activities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Contribute to process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and user experience.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
  • A minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of relevant work experience in IT support, booking administration, customer support, or a related role.
  • Good understanding of computer systems, software applications, and IT support processes.
  • Experience working with booking, reservation, or management systems will be an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
