Human Resource Supervisor (Full-Time)

Location: Tema

A reputable company in Tema is seeking an experienced and proactive Human Resource Supervisor to join its team. Job Summary

The Human Resource Supervisor will oversee key human resource functions, ensure the effective implementation of HR policies and procedures, support talent management initiatives, and promote compliance with labour laws and organizational standards. The successful candidate will work closely with management and employees to strengthen employee relations and drive organizational performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the day-to-day administration of human resource operations.
  • Implement and monitor HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, employee development, and performance management activities.
  • Provide guidance to employees and management on HR policies, employee relations, and workplace matters.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation.
  • Support training and development programmes to enhance employee performance and organizational capability.
  • Ensure compliance with labour legislation and company policies.
  • Assist in developing employee engagement and retention initiatives.
  • Prepare HR reports and provide insights to support management decision-making.
  • Promote compliance with quality, occupational health and safety, and environmental management systems.

Qualification Required & Experience

  • First Degree in Human Resource Management or a related discipline.
  • Professional certification as a Human Resource Practitioner will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ relevant working experience in human resource management.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and other relevant IT tools.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence, collaborate effectively, and work as part of a team.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and verifiable moral character.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and deliver work with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Knowledge of Quality Management Systems, Occupational Health & Safety, and Environmental ISO Management Systems.
