We are expanding our commercial leadership team and are seeking an experienced, strategic, and results-driven Commercial Operations Head (B2B) to lead our business growth agenda, strengthen enterprise partnerships, and drive commercial excellence.

Position Summary

The Commercial Operations Head (B2B) will lead the development and execution of the company’s commercial strategy to accelerate revenue growth, expand market presence, and strengthen customer relationships. Reporting to senior leadership, the successful candidate will oversee commercial operations, business development, sales performance, and strategic partnerships while building and leading a high-performing commercial team.

This role requires a commercially astute leader with a proven track record of delivering sustainable business growth within a B2B environment.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Strategy & Business Growth

  • Develop and execute commercial strategies that align with the organization’s business objectives and growth ambitions.
  • Identify new business opportunities, emerging markets, and strategic revenue streams.
  • Lead market expansion initiatives and execute targeted B2B sales campaigns.
  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to maintain a competitive advantage.
  • Drive the achievement of revenue, profitability, and commercial performance targets.

Business Development & Client Relationship Management

  • Build, manage, and strengthen relationships with enterprise clients, strategic partners, and key stakeholders.
  • Identify, negotiate, and secure high-value business opportunities.
  • Lead commercial negotiations and oversee the successful execution of client contracts.
  • Deliver exceptional customer experiences that support long-term client retention and business growth.

Commercial Operations Management

  • Oversee day-to-day commercial operations to ensure operational efficiency and service excellence.
  • Develop and implement commercial policies, processes, and performance standards.
  • Monitor sales performance, commercial KPIs, and operational metrics to drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Technical, Marketing, Finance, and Project Management, to deliver integrated business solutions.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing commercial team.
  • Establish clear performance objectives and individual development plans.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching, and talent development initiatives.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Represent AO Holdings at client engagements, industry forums, networking events, and strategic business meetings.
  • Build and strengthen strategic alliances with corporate organizations, technology partners, and key industry stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to shape and implement long-term commercial objectives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Economics, Management, or a related discipline.
  • A Master’s Degree (MBA or related qualification) will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 7–10 years’ progressive experience in B2B sales, commercial operations, or business development.
  • Demonstrated success leading commercial teams and managing large enterprise accounts.
  • Experience within the technology, ICT, cloud services, or digital transformation industry is highly desirable.
