Key Responsibilities
As an Investment Analyst, you will:
- Build and maintain robust project finance models, including cash flow projections, sensitivity analyses, and scenario modelling.
- Conduct financial, commercial, industry, and market research to support investment decisions.
- Perform project and corporate valuations using appropriate financial methodologies.
- Prepare high-quality investment memoranda, presentations, and transaction documentation.
- Support transaction execution and coordinate activities throughout the investment process.
- Assist in conducting financial, technical, commercial, legal, and ESG due diligence.
- Screen investment opportunities and support pipeline management activities.
- Monitor investment portfolios and prepare periodic investment and project performance reports.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate successful project execution.
- Contribute to continuous improvements in investment processes and analytical frameworks.
Qualifications and Experience
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- A minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in infrastructure finance, project finance, investment banking, private equity, transaction advisory, or project development.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain sophisticated project finance models.
- Experience in project and corporate valuation techniques.
- Experience preparing investment memoranda and supporting transaction execution.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct industry, market, and company research.
- Experience supporting financial, technical, commercial, legal, and ESG due diligence processes.
- Knowledge of project screening, pipeline management, investment reporting, and project documentation.
- Excellent communication, presentation, report writing, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and investment modelling software.
