We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Shop Supervisor to oversee daily shop operations, support team performance, and ensure excellent service delivery. The successful candidate will provide effective leadership, maintain operational standards, and contribute to the continued growth of the brand.

Position Summary

The Shop Supervisor will manage the daily activities of the Banana Bread Ghana outlet, ensuring smooth operations, excellent customer service, effective stock management, and achievement of sales objectives. The role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to create a positive experience for both customers and team members.

Key Responsibilities

As the Shop Supervisor, you will:

  • Oversee daily shop operations and ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Lead, supervise, and motivate shop attendants to achieve sales and service targets.
  • Create a welcoming and customer-focused environment for all visitors.
  • Ensure products are properly displayed, fresh, available, and presented according to company standards.
  • Monitor customer service quality and ensure customers receive friendly and professional assistance.
  • Manage customer enquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Coordinate staff schedules, attendance, and daily responsibilities.
  • Monitor sales performance and support initiatives to increase revenue and customer retention.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily sales, expenses, stock movements, and operational activities.
  • Manage inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment to prevent shortages.
  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and presentation of food products in line with food safety standards.
  • Conduct regular stock checks and report discrepancies or damaged products.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment at all times.
  • Support training and development of team members to improve service quality and operational performance.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, hygiene standards, and workplace safety procedures.
  • Prepare regular reports and provide operational updates to management.
  • Identify opportunities to improve shop efficiency, customer experience, and overall performance.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree, Higher National Diploma (HND), or Diploma in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Marketing, Food and Beverage Management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in a supervisory role within retail, food service, hospitality, or a customer-focused environment.
  • Experience managing teams and coordinating daily business operations.
  • Knowledge of sales operations, inventory control, and customer service practices.
  • Experience in the bakery, restaurant, or food retail industry will be an added advantage.
