We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Human Resource Officer II to join our Human Resource Department and support the implementation of effective people management strategies that contribute to organizational excellence.

Job Summary

The Human Resource Officer II will support the development and implementation of human resource policies, coordinate key HR processes, maintain employee records, and contribute to talent management initiatives. The successful candidate will play a key role in promoting efficient HR operations while ensuring compliance with organizational policies and employment regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development, implementation, and review of Human Resource policies, procedures, and programmes.
  • Coordinate staff development, training, and employee management initiatives.
  • Maintain and update employee records while ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Coordinate performance management processes, including performance reviews and appraisal documentation.
  • Prepare periodic Human Resource reports and management information.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and employee orientation activities when required.
  • Assist in implementing employee engagement and welfare programmes.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, labour laws, and HR best practices.
  • Provide administrative support for Human Resource operations and projects.
  • Perform any other related duties assigned by management.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree (minimum of Second Class Lower Division) in Business Administration (Human Resource Management Option) or a related field.
  • A professional certification in Human Resource Management or a related discipline will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ post-qualification work experience in a reputable organization.

General Requirements

Applicants should:

  • Possess five (5) credits in WASSCE/GCE Ordinary Level, including English Language and Mathematics in one sitting, or six (6) credits in not more than two sittings, including English Language and Mathematics.
  • Be not more than forty (40) years of age as of the application closing date.
  • Demonstrate high integrity, confidentiality, and reliability.
  • Be self-motivated with excellent report-writing skills.
  • Be willing to work beyond normal working hours with minimal supervision when required.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Show openness to change and the ability to support organizational improvement initiatives.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications and web-based systems.
