Key Responsibilities

As the Events & Activation Officer, you will:

• Plan, coordinate, and execute brand activations, promotional campaigns, product launches, exhibitions, trade shows, and corporate events.
• Develop innovative event concepts and activation strategies that enhance brand awareness, customer engagement, and market visibility.
• Collaborate with internal departments, advertising agencies, vendors, and third-party partners to ensure flawless event execution.
• Manage all event logistics, including venue selection, permits, equipment, transportation, branding materials, staffing, and on-site coordination.
• Prepare, monitor, and control event budgets to ensure activities are delivered within approved financial limits.
• Recruit, coordinate, and supervise brand ambassadors, promoters, and event support teams during activations.
• Evaluate the success of events through post-event reporting, performance analysis, and recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Ensure brand consistency across all event materials, promotional activities, and customer touchpoints.
• Support trade marketing initiatives and work closely with the Sales team to maximize campaign effectiveness and business impact.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging marketing innovations to recommend creative activation ideas.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety standards, and event regulations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3–5 years’ relevant experience in event management, brand activation, trade marketing, marketing communications, or a similar role.
• Experience within an FMCG, agribusiness, retail, or multinational organization will be an added advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple events and projects simultaneously while delivering high-quality results.
