Dispatch & Warehouse Officers (National Service Personnel) – Full-Time

We are seeking enthusiastic, proactive, and organized National Service Personnel (NSS) to join our Operations team. This opportunity offers recent graduates valuable hands-on experience in logistics, warehouse operations, and supply chain management within a fast-paced work environment.

About the Role

As a National Service Officer, you will support the day-to-day operations of the dispatch or warehouse function. You will contribute to efficient inventory management, timely order fulfillment, and effective delivery coordination while gaining practical experience in operational processes.

Key Responsibilities

Dispatch Officer

• Coordinate and monitor daily delivery schedules to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Track deliveries and support route planning to improve delivery efficiency.
• Communicate with delivery riders to monitor progress and resolve operational issues.
• Respond professionally to delivery-related inquiries and escalate issues where necessary.
• Prepare daily dispatch reports and maintain accurate operational records.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance dispatch efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Warehouse Officer

• Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming inventory.
• Organize, store, and maintain stock in designated warehouse locations.
• Prepare, pick, pack, and stage customer orders for dispatch.
• Conduct stock counts and support inventory reconciliation activities.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock movements.
• Ensure the warehouse remains clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Report damaged, expired, or missing inventory promptly.

Qualifications

Education

• Completed tertiary education.
• Currently enrolled in the National Service Scheme (NSS) and eligible for placement.

Knowledge & Skills

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to changing operational priorities.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous internship or practical experience in logistics, warehouse operations, inventory management, or customer service is an advantage.
• Applicants residing close to the Haatso area will have an added advantage.
