We are seeking a proactive, customer-focused, and results-driven Field After Sales Officer to strengthen customer relationships, drive after-sales business growth, and promote our range of vehicle servicing solutions and genuine spare parts.

Position Overview

The Field After Sales Officer will play a key role in expanding the company’s after-sales business by identifying new opportunities, strengthening customer relationships, and promoting preventive maintenance programmes, service contracts, and genuine spare parts. The successful candidate will work closely with the Service and Parts teams to ensure customers receive exceptional support throughout the ownership lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

The Field After Sales Officer will:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities for vehicle servicing, maintenance programmes, and genuine spare parts.
  • Conduct regular visits to existing and prospective corporate and retail customers to promote the company’s after-sales products and services.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to improve customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention.
  • Generate qualified service and spare parts sales leads and convert them into sustainable business opportunities.
  • Promote preventive maintenance programmes, service contracts, and the use of genuine spare parts.
  • Monitor customers’ vehicle servicing schedules and proactively engage them to encourage timely maintenance.
  • Prepare and submit periodic sales activity reports, customer engagement updates, and market intelligence reports.
  • Collaborate closely with the Service and Parts Departments to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of customer requirements.
  • Monitor competitor activities, industry trends, and market developments, and provide relevant feedback to management.
  • Achieve assigned sales, customer acquisition, and business development targets.
  • Represent the company professionally while delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications & Experience

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • An additional qualification or degree in Marketing will be an added advantage.
  • A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in sales, business development, or after-sales services within the automotive industry.
  • Good knowledge of automotive service operations and genuine spare parts; this will be an added advantage.
  • A valid Ghanaian driver’s licence with practical driving experience.
  • Strong customer relationship management and business development skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Good analytical, reporting, and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
