We are seeking an experienced and strategic Finance Manager to lead our finance operations and support effective financial decision-making across the organisation. The successful candidate will provide strong financial leadership, strengthen internal controls, and ensure accurate reporting to support the continued growth and success of Alpha Beta Education Centres.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Finance Department to ensure efficient and effective financial operations.
• Develop, implement, and maintain strong financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Prepare and review financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and management accounts.
• Monitor cash flow, revenue, expenditure, and financial performance to support informed decision-making.
• Ensure accurate accounting records and compliance with applicable financial standards and regulations.
• Manage financial planning, budgeting, and reporting processes.
• Oversee accounts payable, receivables, payroll, and reconciliation activities.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to Management to support strategic planning.
• Monitor financial risks and implement appropriate mitigation measures.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
• Ensure compliance with tax obligations and statutory financial requirements.
• Mentor and support members of the Finance team to improve performance and professional growth.

Qualifications & Experience

Applicants must possess:

• A professional qualification in Accounting such as ICA (Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana) or ACCA.
• A minimum of five (5) years’ relevant work experience in a similar finance management role.
• Proven experience managing financial operations, reporting, and controls within an organisation.
• Experience in the education sector will be an added advantage.
