Role Summary

The Administrative Assistant will provide comprehensive administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations within the university. This role involves managing schedules, coordinating communications, maintaining records, and supporting various departments in delivering efficient and professional services.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage schedules, appointments, and meetings for supervisors or managers to ensure smooth daily operations.

  • Answer phones, respond to emails, and direct inquiries to the appropriate departments.

  • Maintain and organize filing systems, ensuring records are up-to-date and easily accessible.

  • Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, expense reporting, and ordering office supplies.

  • Coordinate travel arrangements, including airfare, hotel bookings, and local transportation.

  • Assist with document preparation, proofreading, and editing of reports, presentations, and correspondence.

  • Serve as a point of contact for employees, clients, vendors, and external stakeholders.

  • Support the coordination and execution of events, projects, and departmental initiatives.

  • Manage social media accounts to enhance communication and engagement.


Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.

  • 2–3 years of experience in office management or administrative support.

  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general office software.

  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality.
