Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and results-oriented Agronomy & Production Manager to oversee crop and livestock production across multiple locations. The successful candidate will drive productivity, ensure quality compliance, and align production activities with market demand while leading high-performing field teams.

Key Responsibilities

Crop Production & Irrigation

• Plan and execute multi-cycle crop production across irrigated and rainfed systems
• Achieve yield targets and maintain pack-out rates of at least 85%
• Implement Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) and Integrated Pest Management (IPM)
• Oversee irrigation systems and day-to-day field operations

Poultry & Livestock Systems

• Manage layer operations of up to 10,000 birds
• Monitor feed conversion ratio (FCR), mortality rates, and egg production performance
• Enforce strict biosecurity protocols across all livestock operations

Production Planning & Coordination

• Align production plans with market demand and offtake agreements
• Deliver weekly production forecasts and harvest schedules

Quality, Compliance & Traceability

• Ensure compliance with HACCP, GAP, FDA, and GSA standards
• Maintain quality assurance (QA) pass rates of at least 97%
• Implement and enforce traceability and residue monitoring systems

Team Leadership

• Supervise agronomists, field staff, and labour teams across locations
• Lead training and capacity-building initiatives for staff and out growers

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma, HND, or Bachelor’s Degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, Animal Science, or a related field
• 2–5 years of experience in commercial agriculture
• Proven experience in irrigated farming systems and poultry production
• Strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multi-site operations effectively
