Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Area Sales Manager to lead sales activities within Tema, Kpone, and Kokompe. The successful candidate will manage field sales execution, strengthen distribution networks, and drive revenue growth while ensuring excellent customer engagement and market expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise sales activities within assigned territories.
- Develop and execute strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key customers.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand market coverage.
- Monitor competitor activity and provide actionable market insights.
- Ensure effective product availability, visibility, and brand presence in the market.
- Mentor and support field sales teams to improve performance.
- Prepare accurate sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates.
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimize supply chain and customer satisfaction.
- Promote a culture of professionalism, accountability, and customer focus.
Qualification Required & Experience
Requirements
- HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in sales, field operations, or a related role.
- Proven consultative selling skills with a strong customer-centric approach.
- High learning agility with the ability to adapt quickly to new challenges and environments.
- Demonstrated innovation, initiative, and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Results-oriented mindset with strong analytical and reporting skills.
