Role Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Cargo Truck Driver to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and supporting our field operations across the Northern Region. Your commitment to safety, punctuality, and professionalism will directly contribute to our mission of empowering rural communities.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate cargo trucks and heavy-duty vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Transport agricultural inputs, produce, and equipment between field sites and warehouses.
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and promptly report mechanical issues.
• Engage courteously with farmer groups, field agents, and other stakeholders.
• Adhere strictly to schedules and delivery timelines.
• Ensure compliance with all traffic regulations and company safety policies.

Requirements

• Minimum Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) or equivalent.
• At least two (2) years of professional driving experience, preferably with cargo trucks or heavy-duty vehicles.
• Valid Ghanaian driver’s license (Class D or higher) with a clean driving record.
• Proven ability to operate and maintain cargo trucks safely and efficiently.
• Basic mechanical knowledge to identify and report vehicle issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and write in English; knowledge of local languages (Dagbani, Gonja, Mampruli) is a plus.
• Excellent time management skills and adherence to schedules.
