Job Summary

Vitara seeks a meticulous and proactive Inventory Management Associate to oversee warehouse operations, maintain accurate inventory records, and ensure smooth logistical processes. The Associate will apply best practices in stock handling, inventory control, and reporting, while collaborating with internal teams to optimize operational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage warehouse operations and maintain accurate inventory records for tuna products.
  • Ensure compliance with warehouse safety standards and proper stock handling procedures.
  • Monitor inventory levels, track stock movement, and maintain documentation for reporting and financial purposes.
  • Resolve conflicts, handle operational challenges, and maintain a positive and collaborative team environment.
  • Support basic bookkeeping tasks related to inventory and stock reconciliation.
  • Analyze inventory data and provide recommendations for improving efficiency and accuracy.
  • Prepare reports and maintain clear documentation for management review.
  • Collaborate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely distribution and delivery.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Diploma, Higher National Diploma, or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of six (6) months’ experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or logistics.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse safety, stock handling standards, and inventory control systems.
  • Basic bookkeeping skills for inventory and financial documentation.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and reporting skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple operational priorities.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, especially Google Sheets.
  • Emotional intelligence and conflict resolution skills to manage workplace dynamics effectively.
