Position Summary

We are seeking a creative, strategic, and results-driven Content Manager to lead the development and execution of compelling content that strengthens Agrisolve Ghana’s brand, showcases our impact, and engages our diverse audiences. The successful candidate will oversee content planning, creation, publishing, and performance across digital and traditional communication channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy aligned with the organization’s mission and communication objectives.
  • Create, edit, and publish engaging content for websites, blogs, newsletters, social media platforms, reports, and marketing materials.
  • Manage the organization’s content calendar and ensure timely delivery of high-quality content.
  • Collaborate with programme teams to document project activities, success stories, and impact.
  • Produce compelling visual and written content that reflects the organization’s work and values.
  • Optimize content for search engines (SEO) and digital engagement where applicable.
  • Monitor content performance using analytics and recommend improvements based on data and audience insights.
  • Ensure all content maintains a consistent brand voice, style, and messaging.
  • Coordinate with designers, photographers, videographers, and external partners to develop multimedia content.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and emerging digital communication practices to enhance audience engagement.

Qualifications and Requirements

Applicants should possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, English, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in content creation, content management, digital marketing, or corporate communications.
  • Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and storytelling skills.
  • Strong understanding of social media management and content marketing strategies.
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) and digital publishing platforms is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of graphic design, photography, or video editing tools is desirable.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
