The successful candidate will support the development and implementation of credit risk models, analyze credit portfolios, and contribute to regulatory compliance and risk management initiatives for clients in the financial services sector.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement credit risk models, including Probability of Default (PD), Exposure at Default (EAD), and Loss Given Default (LGD).
Apply predictive modelling techniques to support credit risk assessment and decision-making.
Assist in managing model risk and ensure compliance with Basel II/III regulations and IFRS 9 standards.
Analyze credit portfolios and prepare reports for internal teams and clients.
Collaborate with stakeholders to improve risk management processes and tools.
Maintain accurate documentation and provide technical insights on credit risk and financial modelling.
Qualifications & Experience
Education: Undergraduate degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Financial Engineering, Actuarial Science, Engineering, Economics, or Econometrics.
Experience: 3–5 years in banking, financial services consulting, or a related environment.
Technical Skills:
Fundamental credit risk modelling capabilities, including predictive modelling techniques
Knowledge of credit lifecycle, model risk management, Basel regulations, and IFRS 9
Financial modelling experience in PD, EAD, LGD, Basel II, and IAS39
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Programming and coding skills in SAS, SAS Enterprise Guide, R, and/or Python
Competencies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and accuracy in modelling and reporting
Effective communication and stakeholder engagement
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Proactive approach to learning and applying regulatory requirements
