Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Data Analyst to transform complex datasets into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making. The successful candidate will play a key role in monitoring, evaluating, and enhancing MSI Ghana’s health programs, ensuring that data informs every aspect of service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and analyze program and operational data to generate accurate reports.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and visualizations using Power BI, SQL, and DHIS2.
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for program managers and stakeholders.
  • Support the monitoring and evaluation of health programs, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimize data collection processes and reporting systems.
  • Stay updated on best practices and emerging tools in data analytics and business intelligence.
  • Contribute to strategic planning by providing evidence-based recommendations.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Public Health, Health Information, or related field.
  • Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Public Health, or related field is preferred.
  • Professional certification in Power BI, SQL, DHIS2.
  • 7–10 years of relevant experience in data analytics or business intelligence.
  • Experience in the health, NGO, or development sector is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
