Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Finance and Administrative Officer to support our finance and operations functions. In this role, you will manage financial processes, ensure compliance with statutory requirements, and provide administrative support to enhance organizational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities

You will:

  • Ensure timely statutory filing and payments in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Post financial entries into the accounting system and regularly review ledgers to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.
  • Prepare and process payment vouchers (PVs) in line with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliation statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Verify supplier invoices and facilitate timely payments, including cheque issuance.
  • Coordinate effectively with service providers to support operational needs.
  • Review and process reimbursements for travel and other expenses.
  • Provide administrative support to the unit, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Finance Manager in support of organizational objectives.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

You should demonstrate:

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Sound knowledge of financial statements, budgeting, and expense tracking.
  • A solid understanding of basic accounting principles and financial concepts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other office communication tools.
  • High levels of professionalism, integrity, and discretion.
  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Education and Experience

You should have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or be part-qualified in a recognized accountancy program.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or a similar role, preferably within a multicultural or international environment.
