As our operations expand in Takoradi, we are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead our finance function, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive effective financial planning and control across all business units.

Position Summary

The Finance Manager will oversee all financial operations, manage accounting and reporting systems, control assets and liabilities, and ensure adherence to corporate financial policies. This role provides strategic financial guidance and operational support to the organization while maintaining strong internal controls.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage, coordinate, and control General Ledger accounts

  • Oversee financial systems, risk management, internal controls, and audits

  • Respond to audit queries and implement audit recommendations

  • Manage assets and liabilities, including planning, reporting, and protection measures

  • Monitor financial administration, expenditure, and asset management across divisions

  • Ensure optimal utilization of financial software across all business units

  • Deliver top-class service to internal and external stakeholders

  • Prepare, manage, and track the performance of annual budgets

  • Process payroll for all units accurately and on time

  • Review monthly financial and budget reports

  • Produce accurate periodic reports in line with corporate policies and accounting standards

  • Plan, supervise, and develop finance team members, ensuring adherence to corporate policies

  • Liaise with government agencies, including Ghana Revenue Authority, ensuring compliance and timely statutory filings

  • Develop short- and long-term strategies for the Finance Department


Qualifications & Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

  • Professional certifications such as ACCA, CA, or MBA are an advantage

Experience:

  • 5–10 years of experience in accounting or finance, with proven leadership in financial management

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills

  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel

  • Knowledge of Ghanaian financial regulations and statutory requirements

  • Excellent leadership, planning, and organizational skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver accurate results on time
