Job Summary
The Finance Officer will manage and strengthen the organization’s financial operations by ensuring accuracy, accountability, and compliance. The role requires a detail-oriented professional who can support strategic decision-making through effective financial management and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
Prepare accurate financial statements and ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements.
Monitor cash flow and oversee organizational expenditures to ensure efficient use of resources.
Support internal and external audits by maintaining proper financial records and documentation.
Develop, implement, and maintain strong financial controls and systems.
Assist in budget preparation, tracking, and variance analysis.
Collaborate with program teams to ensure proper financial planning and accountability.
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Professional certification (ACCA, ICA, or equivalent) is an added advantage.
Minimum of three (3) years of relevant professional experience.
Strong analytical, organizational, and financial reporting skills.
High level of integrity and attention to detail.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office tools is desirable.
